TO THE GRADUATING CLASS OF 2025
The reason I chose IOL is simple: it is an institution that truly believes in the power of education to change lives. IOL offers quality education, recognised qualifications, and the flexibility to help every student achieve their dreams, no matter their background or circumstances.
My journey with IOL has not been easy, but it has been deeply rewarding. It began in 2007, when I first registered for the ICDL course. That qualification opened the door to my teaching career as a temporary teacher. Later, I enrolled for the DPPE programme.
Although I couldn’t complete it at the time, I was admitted to UNAM that same year, where I earned my Diploma in Junior Primary Education.
Today, I am proud to say that I have returned to IOL as a final-year student in the Diploma in Senior Primary Education and now as a permanent teacher. I am truly grateful to IOL for being a constant part of my journey. The opportunity to study while working, to grow at my own pace, and to keep moving forward even when life got difficult, has made all the difference.
To my fellow graduates and students who are still on their journey: never give up. Life will challenge you, but dedication and hard work will always light the way. IOL gives us all a chance to build a better future. One lesson, one module, one dream at a time.
